Wood finishes
These are basic stain colors without distressing.
A “Distressed” finish has small nicks, dings, and dents applied to give the furniture an aged look. Some of these finishes have a glazing step that adds depth and hangs up in the distress marks. Some distressed finishes also have “flyspeck” in the finish.
A Heritage finish begins with a heavy level of distressing that includes: worm hole, splits, edge wear, and chain distressing. Many of these finishes have multiple layers of toners, stains, and glazes that are applied. The fine art of dry brushing provides a final aging effect.
All stain finish colors are offered with a “Wire Brushed” technique that creates a textured surface that adds richness and character to the table top. Wire Brushing is available on TABLE TOPS ONLY. Wire Brushing cannot be combined with Signature Tops, Paint finishes, or Heritage & Distressed finishes. Not available on Olympia tables.
